Lyfjaval

Lyfjaval is an Icelandic pharmacy chain founded in 2003 by the owners of Apótek Suðurnesja — the first pharmacy to open after the market liberalisation of 1996. The chain is known for drive-through service and flexible hours, and was the first in Iceland to offer 24-hour pharmacy access in Hæðasmári.

Lyfjaval's seven pharmacies are spread across the country: five in the capital region (including Kópavogur and Reykjavík), one in Selfoss, and one on the Reykjanes peninsula. Lyfjaval is part of the Dröngum holding group alongside Orka, Löður, and Samkaup.
