Krónan

Krónan is one of Iceland's largest grocery chains and part of the Festi holding group. Founded in 2000, it has grown into 26 discount supermarkets nationwide — primarily across the capital region, as well as towns such as Akureyri, Selfoss, and locations along the south coast.

The stores focus on fresh produce, competitive prices, and neighbourhood convenience. Krónan was the first Icelandic grocery chain to receive Nordic Swan certification, and is known for flexible opening hours and a modern in-store experience.
