Garðheimar is a family-run garden centre in Reykjavík, founded in 1999 by Gísli Hinrik Sigurðsson and Jónína Sigríður Lárusdóttir. Around 60 people work for the company today, with the founders' children now running the business.
The store at Álfabakki 6 offers plants, gardening supplies, flowers, gifts, pet products, and STIHL tools — alongside the Spíran restaurant. Garðheimar is one of Reykjavík's go-to destinations for anyone interested in green living, whether in the garden or at home.
