Fjarðarkaup

Fjarðarkaup is a family-run grocery store in Hafnarfjörður with roots going back to 1973, when it opened at Trönuhraun as one of Iceland's first discount supermarkets. In 1982 it moved to its current building at Hólshraun, where it still stands today.

The store is especially popular among Hafnarfjörður residents and is known for personal service, good prices, and a diverse product range — including the Fræ health department and the Rokka crafts section. Fjarðarkaup has often ranked among the most competitively priced grocery stores in Iceland.
